The Mansa Devi Temple in Haridwar is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in Northern India. As part of a traditional ritual, pilgrims tie a holy thread (moli) around the branches of a sacred tree within the temple complex while making a wish. Once their wish is fulfilled, it is custom to return to the temple to untie the thread.The location offers a breath-taking panoramic view of the holy river Ganges meandering through the bustling city of Haridwar.
