About Fivelements Retreat Bali
Situated along the peaceful banks of the Ayung River, Fivelements Retreat Bali is an award-winning eco-wellness sanctuary dedicated to traditional Balinese healing, plant-based culinary art, and holistic wellness. Rooted in the ancient Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana—which emphasizes harmony among human beings, nature, and the divine—the retreat offers a deeply transformative space for guests seeking physical rejuvenation and emotional renewal.
The retreat features bamboo architecture that seamlessly blends with the surrounding lush tropical jungle. Guests can stay in open-concept suites designed with sustainable materials, featuring open-air bathtubs carved from volcanic rock overlooking the river. The renowned Sakti Dining Room offers an exceptional fine-dining experience focused on vibrant, plant-based, and raw culinary creations that nourish the body and soul.
Whether participating in multi-day wellness retreats, sacred water healing ceremonies, signature massotherapy, or daily yoga and meditation sessions, visitors at Fivelements experience a holistic approach to wellness guided by authentic Balinese healers.
History
Founded in 2010 by Chicco and Lahra Tatriele, Fivelements Retreat Bali was conceived as a bridge between ancient traditional healing ways and the modern wellness journey. The founders collaborated closely with local Balinese high priests, healers, and artisans to create a space that respects traditional customs while providing world-class hospitality.
The resort was named 'Puri Ahimsa' (Palace of Non-Violence) to reflect its commitment to eco-conscious practices, non-violence toward nature, and sustainable design. Over the years, Fivelements has become a pioneer in the global eco-wellness travel sector, receiving numerous awards for its green architectural design, plant-based cuisine, and holistic healing programs.
