Fed by underground springs from Larch Mountain, the falls drop a total of 620 feet—542 feet for the upper fall and 69 feet for the lower fall, separated by a 9-foot elevation drop in between.Unlike many seasonal waterfalls in the region, Multnomah Falls flows year-round, powered by rainwater, snowmelt, and natural springs.
